About

Dimitrios Loukakis is a Los Angeles-based Voice and Communication Specialist, with a mission to coach others to become more confident and competent communicators.

He trains individuals to speak about their ideas in inspiring and strategic ways, mitigating significant costs to innovation, productivity, and revenue.

Dimitrios fosters a learning environment where each participant can come away with practical communication and leadership tools that can be applied immediately. He has an excellent track record of working alongside companies to amplify their message and ultimately increase productivity through effective internal and public-facing communications.

  • Dimitros received his BA in Modern Drama from Brunel University in London and an MA in European Classical Acting from Drama Centre London. He went on to work professionally as an actor for five years. During that period, he became particularly interested in the workings of the voice, and went on to complete the acclaimed MA/MFA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London (RCSSD).

    Since completing this program, Dimitrios has taught numerous actors at universities and drama schools throughout the UK and the US.

    In his private practice, Dimitrios coaches and trains corporate clients, educators, lawyers, and other individuals interested in working on their voices, communication, presentation skills, and personal development.

Dimitrios’ client-centered training approach ensures that he can provide a service that is fully tailored to you and your goals. During your first session, Dimitrios will conduct a comprehensive assessment that will guide the development of your training session and answer the following questions: 

  • You are Unique. So this first stage is all about who you are. We discuss and outline your preferred learning style, your strengths and challenges, your role, as well as the broader work environment. In addition, a brief demonstration of your communication can often shed light on potential blind spots not previously mentioned.

  • Where would you like to be? This stage is about intention. Whether you are looking to become more confident, impactful or memorable communicator, the aim here is to distil your intention down to something as specific and measurable as possible.

  • After examining who you are and where you want to go, Dimitrios will compose a step-by-step program that takes you from where you are now to where you want to be.

After these three stages have been completed, Dimitrios can then guide you through the steps for implementing the program as you work more efficiently toward your goals.
